price of sheds

hi all , just been to a few garden centers to price up some garden sheds
the price of them blew me away . 8x6 £550 and then i looked at a log cabin
a 18x10 with 3 rooms £7050 can,t believe the price of them .
just looking for the end of next season im hoping to build or buy a new loft
thinking about building one i can do it for about £250 with discount i get from build base
so im going to buy the wood in stages through out the winter so by the end of next season
i will be ready to start building with the help of a mate who as all the tools and the know how
but to my plans the loft will be 20x8 . cheers all .

ive looked kev, and your right they are expensive..............local fancier selling a 16 x 6 loft for £200 and he will deliver, so im going to see it this week hopefully.

If you are handy always build your own, wood is cheap, I priced up all the wood needed for my new 34 foot loft and it was less than a thousand, keep ringing up wholesalers saying you have had a price and can they beat it, and they always shave off a bit, until its cheaper thhan you think.

havnt found this, woods not cheap at the wood firms near me........by the time youve bought 2 x 2 and tounge and groove your talking sillly money, personally i find its better to buy a used loft if you dont want to buy new.

can build one for less even a used loft got the hasstle of getting it transported

true ian, a used loft has to be transported....but like i say, at shire timber and the other local timbers places wood isnt cheap...................then youve to spend time cutting/sawing and building etc, so no, not for me...........
