yes don, i fairly confidant it will last a good few years.....now when it rains i dont have to wory as even tho it took hours to do it i know ive done it right this time.......... mind you the green mineral isnt cheap is it, so ill have to get a couple more rolls for the new loft |

| ive still got a load of felt nails and the black bitumen glue (which is very good) so its only a couple of rolls of felt ill need to buy.................hopefully |

yes thats right don, didnt realise till i remembered what i already had left over from the other roof.........cant face building the pillars to support the new loft so i might leave it till next year |

| You can always make the pillars ready for next year, that's one of the hard jobs out the way first |

| yes thats true, once the pillars are up the matter of putting the loft up is easy really........its the digging out, concreting and blockwork thats the backbreaker....... |

well, as you say....nothing hard about it ian, its heavy work doing all that on your own as you know, but i think for me the main problem is that during racing this season i found out through trial and error that my set up isnt right so at the moment im on with loft alterations ie traps, new sliding door mecinisms, flagging etc......which means that if i start to build the new loft it will just put more pressure on me and more work involved which could mean im not ready to pair up and will have another disaster of a season in 2011. thanks for the offer tho ian, if you were serious that is................ |
