| hiya guys if ive done this photobucket lark right ? this is my new shed i made, 10' x 8' split into two sections 4' x 8' with a 2' corridor running front to back in between the two sections. boxes, perches, and birds all in just need to smarten up the front so its a bit more pleasing to the eye. |

i wish , my gardens a weird shape goes from the width of the house then narrows down to 12' at the bottom of the garden, 10' wide was the best i could get in. |

wouldn't be using e t s , to early in my racing experiance to justify it, would be using a clock. |

| cheers alex , more room in there than that old 6 x 4,
the wood i cut out for the windows i did in one piece i kept and fitted handles on them so i can just push it back in in the night to keep the heat in. |

| hi chris, two sputnicks would fit just right, but they are quite expensive really....thats why i made my own out of ply,
cant you just add landing boards and bobs so they get get into their section...? you will need something for latecomers or birds which wont come in now and then........ |

| chris, if you have two sections i personally think you need traps of some sort on both..... you could make the landing board so it is hinged and folds up at night etc to keep cats out, on my home made sputnik type traps im fitting a folding landing board on a piano hinge. |

| Davids right mate, landing board on a piano hinge. Boddy and ridewood sell a late arrivals trap that if the weight of a cat jumps on it it collapses downwards and the cat falls off. Then goes back to the original position. Supposed to be fully cat proof |

| yes seen them alex, only one thing if you did make it so the landing board closed to cover the bobs..........if it was me i wouldnt make a very wide board as you dont want the full area covered which could restrict your air/ventilation maybe.... |

| when i made my trap i wanted to re-use the dowel panel and the carbon sheeting again, so i planned it to incorparate it into the trap which would still give air flow into the loft........and as it happens i think because ive lowered the dowel panel it has helped the ventilation....... |

| As long as it works mate When we change the big shed into sections next year we will have the obs in there, have a sputnik on the front then they fly across the corridor into the open doors and trap into their sections like that. |

| Chris would use sputnik mate or that type of trapping system mate and like Ginger says they can see there surrounding areas
Must say like to see a loft at least a few feet of the floor and vents on the lower part of the loft but everyonr to there own but still a nice loft

| hiya don,
regards to the ventilation , i,ve got two vent panels to go into the bottom of each section, and one inside at the back of the corridor, just didn't put them in yet, cold got to me in the end,
the loft is raised all be its only 10" off the ground you just cannot see it with the brick wall in front of it, and a walkway in front of the loft. |
