Well Lads Im really looking forward to the one loft, as I already won a second in Europa last year.....Might have an advantage..

Hi David, Yes I have introduced Hermans/Ceusters pigeons and koopman from Premier stud into my loft last year, I have same way bred birds as the europa hen including a half sister. They are flying well for premier lofts all over the world so lets hope they do the same for me. They will be now crossed into my pigeons, I will be entering a few more one lofts this year as well all with these birds.

yes, hope they do well for you martyn in the other onelofts youve entered too.............they are well bred birds by what ive read about them so should be very interesting keeping up to date with how yours and our other members birds are doing.....

Yes will be interesting, Its always difficult to know what birds do flying in other areas, as I have said before others seem to do better with my birds than I do, not sure why, maybe they are just better fanciers? Wales is a difficult area to fly so the birds have to be good, buschearts seem to do well for everyone down here over the years. Although the hermans/ceusters birds are doing well I must say they are not thhe nicest birds to look at. I do prefer the janssens for looks.

yes some of my janssens are nice lookers but at the end of the day i dont need to tell you martyn...........winners are best even if they are a bit ugly

its surprising how many ugly birds become so much nicer when they win

ugly ones are fine mate, just not pretty coloured ones

the ugliest pair of birds i have always breed a good bird which do well racing, and also their ybs have bred decent ybs too..........at one stage i was going to get rid of them because they didnt look nice.

years ago when we had the ragamuffin lines of the lefebre dhaennens, mainly darks or dk cheqs with orange eyes were pretty ugly.......but they could race

Also the Gaby's are not the pretiest of babies but they moult out into differents looking birds

some of those janssens i told you about mark were big dopey looking ybs, but now they are fully grown and moulted they look totaly different birds, and are not as big as i thought they would be.
