| just got the rings back of a yb of mine which had been killed by a hawk, when i let them out last week one didnt return and i got a phone call from a local fancier who seen my phone ring on the dead birds leg.............it seems it had been killed by a hawk so its a bit of a blow. |

| sickning david my friend across the road got a hawk on top of one of his youngsters yesterday . got it off the bird in time but 34 of his youngsters went up in the sky and took along time to come back . its a pain david that 3 of us in the village now has had birds taken with sparrow halks up till now . |

| it always seems that its the ones you expect good things from which get killed, or the ones you cant breed the same again........ |

| yes david same with my open winner this year 18 birds went out for first time and she had to be the one to get hawked allways the same friend |
