Hi Darren you will not beat the early morning libs mate you will find your birds will fly faster than compared to mid or late afternoon lib

The only thing i would say is if you could fly them first for 30 mins very early then place them in the basket for the early lib even better mate

Thanks Don, that makes total sense and is good to know. Do you think that giving them a training flight from Birdlip (approx 60 miles) will be a pointless exercise - they'll be on their own, or do you think it has value??

Will not hurt them at all mate if anything if you have 9 i would lib them in 2 teams of a 4 and 5 mate by doing that you aare making them work there brain and not coming in a kit of a few hundred which we call follow the leader and you don't want your birds to become hangers on mate

If they are schooled right they will have plenty of confidence to fly on there own mate and not look for other pigeons to take them home
