| my name is david smith and i am from northallerton , i am just starting out with pigeons again after i kept them as a young lad of twelve ,i had them for a year and a half as a move forced me to stop keeping them and until now have been more interested in the other type of bird ,the none featherd type   , but have settled now with cracker and we have a little lad so we are going to race them together as he seems keen , i have just compleated my loft albeit trapping systems and nest boxes ,but have plenty of time for that as wont be racing until this time next year, i have four latebred youngans as a start ,did have six but lost two with some trainers a week or so ago of the loft  anyway i am to join brompton invitation homing club at the next agm . and am looking forward to it massivly just a shame there is so long to wait but at least it will give me the chance to prepare properly. and spend plenty of time with the youngans. seems the bug has hit me again in a big way and i am on sites evreyday looking at stuff and watching,reading up on the sport as it is today. so a big hello to all and look forward to chatting with you about this great sport . thanks for taking the time to read my intro. david  |

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
