| I could be wrong here but I was under the impression that if the battery gets disconnected (or goes flat) that the flash memory is lost and needs to be reprogrammed, although if you have the right battery as a spare, with a bit of careful planning it should be possible to to change it without losing power to the i/c. |

mmmm, you could be right steve, maybe this is why they reccomend fanciers to send it in for doing......but if someone has a bit of sense like you say they could actually do it them selves........worth thinking about. |

| once i get this t3 off the bloke from phils club ill have a look at it carefully. Ive got a mate that can get hold of the battery it takes so will see what can be done |
