Good luck finding proven stock I think ur find that never happen mate unless a lot money up for grabs that's what I have found bein in sport

louella selling older stock birds, 40 pound a pair..........could be worth a try.

if louella selling them for £40 a pair they wont be up to much

ian there aint such a thing as a gift now people want silly money for there rubbish i split with my ex race partner in 2008 and left everything there and went by myself in 2009 yb season my ex partner sold up i wasnt offered anything ... another friend of mine bought everything but whilst my ex partner was still flying and winning he had an 8th combine with 1ov th birds i had bred while being in the partnership .... anyways getting back to the friend who bought him out has done nothing but help me he give me the nestmate 2 the 8th combine an other birds that had bred birds 2 win while i was in the partnership now thats a pigeon man and all he asked was do you want a coffee lol

if you look at my post david you will see there is still some genuine people out there

ill second that mick , since i have ben on here i have gifted over 50 - 60 youngbirds to new starters cant tar everyone with the same brush

thats genuine ian i have been offerd money for pigeons i wouldnt take it ive give pigeons 2 people that have bred winners for them

ian, theres decent fanciers in all areas..........but in my experience most "gift" pigeons are shite they want rid of.

no ones going to sell top quality proven breeders for a tenner, they are going to want top dollar.

not talking about selling birds for tenner on about genuine fanciers giving you stock bird for nothing this does happen i can tell you as i have been gifted many decent birds

i dont mind paying top dollar if there proven

my best birds where for nowt,,i paid good money for some birds which turned out to be crap..i,ve even give good birds away ,which also have won for others ,mind not many ,its hard to get your own winners nevermind giving them away ..but i have only sold birds once since i,ve had them.i would rather give them away to help lads out...i would breed anyone birds to help them out as long as they know what there doing

maybe you have ian, never said good birds were never given......what im saying is that not all fanciers will give good birds, also its a fact that not all pigeons are good ones, and no one can say otherwise..........

if i had a pair of pigeons which bred a 1st fed winner, im hardly likely to breed ybs off them for all and sundry for the members who fly against me in my club, and as much as some will say otherwise, most of them wouldnt do it either..........
