Like I always say Steve, If your passionate about something, then it's worth fighting for.
I've always been the same, it's pointless sitting there moaning about stuff. In fact looking throughout the different forums and comment boxes on articles, there are hundreds of posts with thousands moaning about the BOP situation but surprisingly only 215 people want to do something about it.
Every one of those people who have signed the petition, has earned the right to moan about it, as they have contributed to the the first step of getting something done. I have had emails from hundreds of fanciers, making suggestions about what to do next, some have mentioned a demonstration at the Olympic games, getting transporters to release pigeons, it's a sure way to noticed, others have mentioned pigeon sales to generate funds for coaches and car stickers and these are just a couple of Ideas out of the hundreds I have received. It might only be a small amount at the moment, but they all sound like they are serious about getting us heard and bringing this to the attention of the nation.
The RSPB think they have lots of money with makes them powerful, do they have bops that sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds. NO.
We all know that the fancy can easily generate it's own funds if needed.
Just something to whet your whistle.

I've spoken to them Chris, they in full support of our actions are monitoring it closely, but like they say we are doing their work for them.
But if only a few fanciers support it, then it speaks for itself.
They problem isn't as big as we say it is.
