Email sent to PIPA

I have been thinking of ways to try and promote our action in trying to save our sport. So I decided to be a little cheeky and send some details to PIPA and ask them if they would like to an article for us.
You never know, it might pay off.

why not gary, pipa claim to be the best pigeon site around, keeping fanciers up to date with all the latest news in the pigeon world............

tell therm even a small free site has a link to it and is showing them up........

That's the one mate, ya have always got to give a little bit.

It's now stepping up a gear, there are fanciers posting it on bird trader, facebook and just all over the place, which is excellent news. Everyone is now beginning to get involved. Because this isn't my fight, it's our fight.
The penny is beginning to drop and the ball is now starting to roll, hopefully it will gain momentum now and everyone will do their bit.
Fanciers pulling the same way for once.

That's the one mate, unite the Clans, so to speak, that what the RSPB will now be doing, all the rapter groups will be getting emails.

It's amazing what one website can do, with the right exposure.

I'm just trying to to create as much awareness of the problem as possible.
There are so many doubters who say it's been tried before and it's failed so why bother.
If we all took that attitude, then TBH we are beaten before we start.
There is a solution to this problem, but as yet I have to find it.
This is not the first time I have been involved in something like this and have took on the might of the powers that be before.
We once stopped a small woodland, where I played as a kid from being built on.
Everyone said we was flogging a dead horse and the land had been sold, we spent nearly a year raising petitions along many other people of course.
We pulled out all the stops, we found protected red bellied newts, rare fungi and plants. 20 years on it's still there and they built all around it.
So I know it can be done, even if money and the odds are stacked against you.
If you care about something passionately, then it's worth fighting for.
I believe we can achieve something here and I am going to give it my best shot.
If it fails, like so many have said it will.
Then the next time I hear someone moaning about the state of the fancy, I would have earned the right to tell them to Shut The FFF UP
