- I don't post a lot but I think George is right in what he says it should be that you put your town or county you live in just think what it could do if you had a bird go to a none fancier it could be picked up and sorted it would help if this was done and wouldn't have some prat saying to a none fancier ah just kill it its no bloody use to me it might help a little bit as their is some t**ts out their that say this witch is no good to pigeon flying Good thing George it might help a little bit
i cant see how this will help stop people saying neck it as if i have a bird registered to me and it gets reported all my details are registered with the bird so if i was going to ask for it to be killed wether or not my general location was on here doesnt make one iota of difference in my eyes,i can see the thinking behind what your saying but all details are there when bids are reported |

- there is plenty good reading /ideas ect and every day is a school day your never too old to learn the more that post and have imput helps every one the sport has moved rapidly over the last 30 years but that does not mean the old methords are no good so if your a member why not post if your a guest why not join there are no right or wrong posts shareing ideas is what its all about remember you only get out what you put in JMO sean
i agree sean some of the old ideas are very good and some are outdated as with any sport or walk of life things move on and progress although not all for the good, just because someone dont agree with yer point of view dont mean you aint gotta post anymore thats a bit childish jmo good idea ginger |

| Yes I will agree but some none fanciers don't no what to do to find it in the wing or leg where ever it may be but if you want it put down you should not tell a none fancier to kill it that's not a good image to put out their to any one |

i ttotally agree with you but like you say the worlds full of fools the only time id even consider asking somebody to do this is if the bird wasnt likely to survive and was suffering |

| i personally think gingers idea of putting your location on your profile is a good idea, we dont need to put all the other info like male or female, age, date of birth etc, but if like what happen a couple of days ago a none fancier finds an injured pigeon, then he could look to see if there are any members local to him who he could pm and ask for help.........or like when i was pm`d by the none fancier, i idint have a clue which of our members lived in wolverhampton or the surrounding areas. JMO |

i myself have no poblem putting my location up im from a small fishing village on the north west coast of england called liverpool but and this is not meant to cause trouble or upset the apple cart there is a level of anonimity on forums and pigeon fanciers in general are nice people but there is also a bitchy darker side to us, by giving locations etc you could be opening yourself up to abuse or ridicule from club mates/competitors with a touch of green eyed monster in them if i was asked i would gladly give my location and those that have had the pleasure of being friendly with me will already know it there is also a security issue due to the amount of thieving scum that are now in the world jmho |

| i`m not sure pete to be honest, i could have a look and see if its possible.....altho thinking about it, the times strays get reported to us by none fanciers is few and far between really, and if they post the details up on site, or pm me, anyone local to them will hopefully read it and make themselves known. |
