BEAT BEFORE THE START

hoping its easy to beat my best, 4th 8th fed 20 years ago, stronger club now but birds hopefully much better than before

Im sure your going to do great Steve, and what's more we get to come on here and talk about how things went from week to week.
If it was a bad week for one of us, the others might have different ideas that could help.

But at least you know your always in good company on here

totally agree plenty of good reading to come

tell you what if this yb exchange is a success it could be the thing of the future,we might end up swapping maybe 6 or more in the years to come.what have we to lose free young uns to race just the cost of transport which is nothing really.i could easily give a dozen away to members all over the country so see how they fly else where...interesting...

Some of the best pigeons have been exchange or gift birds so i totaly agree with Rays sentament

i agree when you say the best pigeon are gift ones all mine are gift ones from
over the years , last year i gave 12 away to 2 new starters 6 each 6 went to yorks and
6 went to belfast both ended up with 3 each and all flew the longest yb race from over 300 miles
and we have kept in touch and become friends its just nice to know how your pigeons get on
under different systems .

will certainly make for some good reading over the coming months

yes well said amanda, i agree............maybe if the race doesnt go well someone might be able to give a tip to get you back on track, plus i think talking with our group will give incentive to try that bit harder so we can come on each saturday and tell others how we have done....

As i have already said, i can see things working out for the best and some champions being produced all for the cost of the carriage

The best thing with this it gives people the chance to try different pigeons at a low cost which can only improve the sport
