| i georgeheard of the very odd bird lay 3 small eggs but when you say some of your birds thats more than one then thats strange |

| if its two hens paired togeather you will get 4 eggs..........(or you should do) |

| rollerman can you tell us how many hens are laying 3 eggs in a nest as you say some are which i take to mean more than one hen and what size they are |

| hold them up to the light and see if they are full if they are then if you need hens keep the round ones if you need cock birds then that egg will come to a sort of point at one end |

| well theres something else ive learned today the shape of the egg dictates the sex of the bird. all i need now is an easy way of sexing them when they have hatched. |

one "theory" ive heard is the length of the toes determines if a yb is a cock or a hen, i think if they are all the same length its a hen, if the middle toe is longer its a cock..........dont take my word for it as its only what ive read, and probably like most theories, thats ALL it is a theory...... |
