found rings!?

was having a chat with a good friend of mine about metal detecting he was telling me about some nice finds he then he pulled out a load of rings with numbers on them and asked me what they were I told him that they were the rings from racing pigeons. Why would my friend have found so many rings this way?

That never even crossed my mind,will get the rings off him and post the numbers on here.

If he don't want the rings when you have finished with them ill gladly have them for my collection who knows mabey there's some I don't already have
