only 8 pair paired up so far

only 8 pair has paired up this week hoping the rest will be paired by saterday hoping

yes fred a bit milder here too, thought i should have had a few eggs myself after being paired for 10 days but none so far....

I've always said 12-14 days in winter breeding, 8 to 10 days in the spring, as long as they're being driven and the hens are in the bowls, as Corporal Jones said, don't panic

yes fred, some hens are in the bowls but ive noticed whenever the cocks are trying to tread his hen all the other cocks fly down and attack him so he cant mate......i know they all do this but it could be hampering them laying.....

believe me, that won't stop her laying, it will stop them fertilizing the eggs though, the hens will lay though, I've written a bit on another thread.

yes fred your right, last year i had the same problem and the eggs were clear...........
