Hi all, new to the site and still new to pigeons also. Just curious if i breed youngsters now for racing will i have to put them on darkness or will the not moult out until after the young bird racing season.

hi skee, welcome to the site.....as far as i know, if you dont put them on darkness the ybs will moult naturally and be moulted by the time yb racing comes around.

your ybs are only getting 8 hours of natural light as though they where on the dark,but you have to breed as early as you can...
