2 Weeks tomorrow

Thats when our 1st race is there aint a cat in hells chance that we will be sending our Fed are still going ahead with this they are stupid. I dont think many will go we cant even get them out never mind train them but the desperarados will send good luck to them they will need it.

terrible here vanreetman, snowing now as i type........ive noticed a couple of local fanciers have managed to get their birds out on the better days, but as for training ive not seen them taking them anywhere........

Its been shocking weather here David it aint fit for the dogs never mind racing.

same with us but cant see us being ready are well always the next race
we wont throw them away

one of the idiots in my town had his birds flying out dinner time today, i bet they were pissed off, i no i was ?.

some just cant wait can they looks like i will miss the first race but hey its only a 60 mile dash aint the end of the world

Its the same for us 67 miles they dont even get out of 2nd gear

we start 20th april its only 40mls to me shortest club but a lot go over the top so its more like a 100 plus miles for some i,ve only got the birds out 3 times thgis year since roughly end sept last year my birds where out the day but only fliping around if the birds aint right by the 20th they certainly wont go simple as that its a long season plenty time for me its the longer races i,m interested in sean

now for 6 months there has been a post asking all members to join a test loft
to test there birds against each others from far and wide and test them against other fanciers WHY THEN DO I SEE RAYS NAME ON THE LIST AND NOT YOURS
I CAN ONLY ASUME YOUR BIRDS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO COMPETE OR YOU HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN YOUR BIRDS OR YOUR NOT MAN ENOUGH TO FLY AGAINST THESE MEMBERS I WOULD GLADLY FIND YOU 2 PERCHES IF YOU WANT TO ENTER LETS SEE HOW YOU DO

i for on will not send on any bad weekend, i have not looked after these all winter to throw them away early in the season, if i have to i will take them myself when the weather is ok, as i am not in a club it wont make much differance to me?, and if i realy have to i will private train them to the coast, as my first race will be fougers, approx 370 miles to me, i have done this before and got a good responce from my birds.

Well we started training weeks ago, everybody said we started too early, good job we did, it might just give us the edge now. they have had a few chucks now.
Fingers crossed.

mine will start going out next weekend weather permitting as all ybs will be weaned over by then but if its east winds they wont be trained or raced as i have mostly yearlings

we don,t start till end of april so plenty of time yet , but i must admit it bloody freezing
at the mo ive not had them out for about 4 days now that east wind is bitter so no point
how people can train in this weather is beyond me but each to there own .

Trouble nowadays kev it doesnt matter how you look after them,you have got to put your trust in other people,look at what that asshole convoyer did last year at the now infamous bedampton, he single handedly destroyed combine birdage for the whole oldbird season,thats the only reason marmande is off the calender now.Thats the truth

We don't train in these harsh conditions, in fact they have been locked up. But the few days over the last month that have been decent, they have gone, hell we were in t shirts the other week, today we are dressed like Eskimos. lol
