I do not wish to be cruel RN Smile Smile, short answer !!!! No No No if your going down the racing path etc. If only keeping them as a hobby thou Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Wink Wink jump in quick, because I would say the are a bargain in my view & they will give you a bit of fun & enjoyment, which is not a bad thing. cheers

Well if your on here for advice you will get plenty of that whether you want it or not.

I wouldnt both with the birds from the Monastry if you want to race, I would go to a local fancier for Old Birds preferably 1 who is doing ok

hi racing novice, and welcome to the site.........could you tell us a bit about yourself ie, have you kept pigeons before, and do you already have a loft/shed ready for the new pigeons, do you plan on keeping them at home in your garden or allotement ?

i would agree with what others have said and avoid the ones for £7, as once you get to know some of the members they might be able to help you out with old or young birds if they are reducing their flock.......

Hi david, originally from oldham we moved here 4 years ago, i kept pigeons with my old man when i was young over 30 years ago now but really fancy getting into racing now, just finding it a bit hard to get started. i have 2 6x4 sheds which i am joining together and widening to end up with a 12x6 shed. this is going to be kept in my back garden were i can keep my eye on them.
