Subject: Bird found in the Netherlands WHU 2012 c 03983 Tue Jul 22, 2014 1:09 pm
yesterday we found an injured pigeon with ringnumber WHU 2012 c 03983 in Gouda, the Netherlands. Probably injured because of an encounter with a bird of prey.
I have taken it home with me, and will care for it until the owner has been found.
Anyone missing a pigeon?

whu means "welsh homing union" it would be best to e-mail them with the ring number and your contact number...good luck and credit to you for taking the bird home to care for it.

Thanks, I'm not really into pigeons, but I just could not leave it there for the cat to feast on it.
I reported the bird on the WHU website, and will await their answer.
