| I buy the rp weekly Darren, and exchange the week after with a local fancier for the bhw, but ive been thinking for a while to stop buying it, its just a waste of 99p. |

| I think the bhw is good value for money, I read it in the bath everynight. what a gloom munger that Burt brasspening is. You can guarentee he will start hes article by, "Pigeon Racing isnt what it used to be". And it gets more depressing as it goes on. If any novice reads that every week its not exactly encouraging. Some of the other old boys use their columns to list all their ailments every week. |

| Well I buy the BHW and some weeks I do think what a lot of crap they need to sort the scribes out as some talk too much about their allotments, and the Mrs and sweet FA about pigeons. I have to agree about brasspening I have some of his pigeons and really like his writings generally but he is does go on about pigeons being a dying sport. His opinions on the pigeons are great but lives in different times, he needs to get with it and stop moaning about other people making too much money on the internet.
Although I don't agree with all he teaches most is of use which is more than I can say about 90 % of the scribes who talk crap, but I will keep having it because I like to know whats going on.
I hate reports about results and pictures of people with the trophies, I think this is all personal and I read non of it as I just don't care. If they have to give reports on a good fancier and results fine, but tell us about the pigeons with pictures of birds and lofts with meaning full info for everyone to enjoy and not some chap holding a pigeon we cant see. |

| I had not bought the bhw for months but now bought the last few weeks and its full of adverts for sales lotions and potions. Granted this it where the mag makes it money to keep going. But to be honest if a new starter bought it to learn things all he would learn is birds cost a fortune and you have to be some kind of vet to keep them healthy. Martyns right lets have a good look at the birds, inside the lofts they race to, the methods they use, feed how much and what type. I dont think it will happen though as its all hush hush top secret. The only secret i have found in pigeon racing is good birds. |

| Very true Old Strain this week there is very little 2015 yb kits for sale but plenty of old birds. who would sell an old bird if it was producing the goods? You MIGHT buy in an ob and make a magic pair. I would love to know how many obs people have bought in AND made a magic pair. if these obs were as good as they say we would all have lofts full of winners but my bet is most have lofts full of pigeons with great rolls of paper to back them up not results. My grandad played rugby for wales and the welsh team havent knocked my door to ask me to play but on paper i,am from the same blood line! |

| yeah I know you meant scribe but I meant its easier to criticise others than give your own advice ....put it out their northroadracer don't be so negative ...why are you so afraid to give a reply unless its to criticise ,seems a strange attitude for a teacher why not give something to the site that's constructive |

| actually over £2 per week maybe you have money to waste but with a disabled wife and a kid I don't you ignorant man ...before criticising others wealth and what they spend or don't spend their money on do your homework because theirs nothing funny about being disabled...but that's it with keyboard warriors like you they shoot from the hip and the lip |
