| how much air space do you allow for your birds or think is adequate ...I take the length of the loft and times it by the width and divide by 3 so I get nearly 1 square metre of air space per bird ...for example 10 x 6 loft would be 60 divide by 3 = 20 birds |

| as I have corridors in my 2 small lofts parts for birds 7x5 10 birds 8x 5 for 8 birds one has a flight the other a small aviary think corridor is a must have or I would have a 10 x 6 and a 8 x 8 |

I have secondary wire doors no aviary though on my OB loft I think a aviary is paramount for prisoners but not necessary for race team more of a luxury ...would not go down well with widow cks just more work more cleaning ...I don't have any stock so it suits me to just have wire doors |

| I have a secondry wire on on my small stock shed, have always planned on adding an aviary but never seemed to get the time really...........did also plan on adding secondry wire doors to all sections of the loft but then again I can only have them open when im there because the loft is not very near to the house and there are quite a few cats about.......... |

yeah its definitely a bonus but I have deep litter so have to watch the weather but I will be making a porch for the loft so I wont have to worry if it rains also the porch will act as a landing board ...I will have it on hinges so I can drop it at night to cover the front of the loft partially ie top half |

George the natural breeding station have completely open fronts 24/7 I don't think it will do any harm whatsoever especially in this mild winter we are having at present |
