First Race - Are you looking forward to it ?

Our first race this year on Saturday.

I am looking forward to it, the weather forecast is ok but will only be sending my more experienced pigeons. Want the yearlings to get a bit more time training.

good luck lads lets have some winners

Its my first race Saturday since I started up again, sending my five cocks, all gifted youngens from last year including 2 grizzles from Ray Peel.
One of them had canker whilst feeding his young but I spotted it and treated it with flour of sulphur.
It's been a struggle with work but I've got 4 short, late evening training tosses in this week, so fingers crossed.

May 8 our first race. Two races. 110 and 155. However, HIV in a turkey barn 50 miles away so races may get cancelled. Over 100 thousand turkeys killed. Canadian International 1 loft race has been cancelled for this year due o the turkey stuff.

had a similar type thing here a few years ago when the P/M Virus struck. Closed all the borders here as such & really did our heads in Rolling Eyes

as no one was really quite sure, what the future was going to be Wink

first race done they come well im the 2nd flyer in club to get 1 but think im 4th club will have to see .but the main thing is 21/22 home and hoping for the last 1 soon Very Happy
