I thought we had enough to put up with.

Let birds out this morning, flying around the house. I took sister in law to day centre, and when i came back to my house, i could hear shotgun blast going off in farmers field near by. Young birds no were to be seen, not seen them now for a while. If its not Bops, we have to deal with, its all ways somethink else.

Well one back upto now, not sure whats going on.

do they go fielding dev...give plenty minerals and clay block, probably scarpered for a while because of the noise

Daz i have plenty of grit and minerals in loft, they fly all over the area were i live. A few more have turned up, one looking really stressed out, he is in sick basket. But a few still missing, i should have took them for a toss this morning, but weather did not look too good.

Your right mate always something, I found a cat in my loft Sunday, birds been hovering above the loft all week not wanting to land.
Not coming in until dark most days.

Still 2 missing, and the one that come back stressed out, i put in the sick basket. has been spewing up, checked it over cant see any injurys, but they all returned single, apart from 2 together, so they must have darted all over the place.

Nothing worse than that Steve, all your hard work training them, and then they wont come in when you are calling them. But we carry on mate, because its the sport we love. Hope things get better for you.

Is it people shooting in your field or has the farmer set up one of those bird scarers that go off every now and again.

Oh the joy Devo . One tends to scratch ones head at times  why we continue to put up with that type of pleasure ??? etc. One could say in general pigeon flyers are a bit thick  for continuing to take such punishment. But I would never be so bold, as to imply such a thing .

I checked it out, and found that they had been guys there shooting. still 2 down, and the poor bird in the sick bay, passed away through the night. But the sport lives on. with another loss of i wonder if this will be the one.

Yes daz, The weather as changed, getting bucket loads at present. birds staying in loft, and doubled up on ropa for a few days. Thanks mate.
