| thats correct lofty ive used it in the same way all you do is boil a hand full of linseed in water keep stirring till it forms a gell then strain it then all you do is add 2 table spoons to i drinker dilute in a bit of warm first throw away the flack it keeps in the fridge for a bout 3 months |

| posted on another site roy about linseed I would put some in water to take the oil out then pour some over the corn and put in oven till dry but this was just for the show pigeons not racers now I find it's about fresh air corn and water to bring birds into condition one thing I would say don't keep changing the corn or giving this thing and that thing pigeons do not like change others will be able to give more advice on here |

| I tried measuring the feed during the racing season and feeding the cocks in galley pots in their boxes. It really didn't work for me. I had the cock of the loft claim the floor the whole season others couldn't get down to get grit and he chased them away from the water drinker, it was a real pain during breeding.
I've gone back to my old method of feeding in a trough on the floor until 2 or 3 have gone to the drinker.
I think all birds are different sizes you wouldn't feed a fly weight boxer the same as a heavy weight.
Measuring out food doesn't work for me.
Plus all the birds are getting used to each other being on the floor more.
They still love their boxes the same.
Thats my opinion anyway.
