How many ybs this year

How many ybs will members have this year.we will have about 90 ourselves. We have bought or been given about 30 or more this year to try out

36 for us for racing more than usual and a couple more bred for stock

I got 40 rings, and im into the second packet........

An old little Aussie battler here has done you over Big time Things are set in stone here & they didn't even ask me how many rings I required etc just asked for the money when they handed them to me at the club etc. 130 is sort of my thing but then being a pigeon flyer I snuck another ten in the pot just recently when I was given 2 free bees for a big race here for nothing. Now keep this one under your belt as such Ray no telling no need for this mob here     to know, but I also have 80 odd old birds left over from last year to race .

The truth is a terrible thing at times O/S . I'm just glad I live on the side of a mountain when I have to cart the bags down under my house for storage & if it was all all up hill I'm I truly would be knackered I suspect. Now that's it The last detective has just started here & I'm off.

Again when we get an established team ourselves we will cut the team down..I have already halved the stock and will be again very shortly.in an ideal world 18 cocks 18 hens would do us for roundabout

I've bred 10 and bought 2 from Tumley Lofts.

we will have around 45 this season and thats to many i supose theirs a few for losses and one or two for the hawks and the rest to race

As you know David when in Rome do as the Romans do etc & as hard as it is to believe the chook farmers down the bottom here leave me for dead with their numbers. Waiting on a phone call from the little fat bloke as he was at a meeting last night to do with our wonderful ??? new transporter here. 3300 odd birds it takes & the chook farmers want an extension to fit all their birds on come race day. Even I think that's crazy type stuff but then, I know nothing .

We have to pay for a minimum of 30 yb's, wether we ship that many or not. $210 last year. Ship more, pay more. So I get 40 bands. 2 more to band. The yb's have been out maybe 5 times due to weather etc,. Lost two. Strong on the wing some of them but usual scenario. Lose them now or lose them later. 5 or 6 have had night outs in snow and cold weather. Hopefully they learned something.

I got 23 at the moment. Hoping to get 30 to 35 for this year. Try and get a old bird team out of them for next year then.

MMMMMMMmmmmmm Why don't you just admit Ray your a pigeon tragic etc  & just love to have pigeons in bulk to clutter up your yard/plot there.

I have 60 separated another 20 in the pans and 30 to come off mates I lent birds to plus I have given 30 away to charity's and bred a mate some there is still a few to come off the krugers for 2 mates so happy days far too many birds so intend cutting right back at end of year know one thing these buggers can eat corn and shiete lol sean
