Got a pigeon in tonight Empty
PostSubject: Got a pigeon in tonight   Got a pigeon in tonight EmptyMon May 09, 2016 10:17 pm

Went to my garden tonight to check if anything else back.anyway there was a gb on my let and I managed to get it in.it was Lincolnshire way.the bird had a telephone ring number on so I rang the bloke up and he told me where it was liberated from.whitley bay which is only a few miles from me.it just goes to show you what happens. That bird was knackered it must have just flew round and round. I will be feeding and watering it till Saturday then if it's ok let it go home.Fingers crossed

well done ray, giving the bird a chance to get home.......makes you wonder though why it only flew a few miles from liberation scratch

could it have been dragged along with other birds from another race maybe...?

We should all help each out if possible. .I remember one idiot on here a couple of years ago. Saying it's the owners responsibility to send for his bird regardless. .anyway if we all had that attitude what a sad world this would be..As you know I will anyone and always will

we had one in on Saturday from Dudley hungry and thirsty ...no telephone no or wing stamp ,I will help any bird out but when their owners don't stamp or telephone ring the bird I think these sort of guys are the worst utter toss pots in my mind as its quite obvious if they lose their bird they don't want it back Evil or Very Mad but we still helped the bird its not the birds fault its one aspect that really grates on me ...lack of responsibility Evil or Very Mad

they make sure the birds are either stamped or phone ringed in my club....I was putting mine through the other year and one of the members said, oy that's not stamped.......it was a genuine mistake but he was right to say something over it.

I didn't think nehu birds had to be stamped, is this still the case...?

ive had very few reported, even though ive not raced much.....but I do believe there are certain fanciers who do not want the bird back, and will either say kill it (which I would never do) or "do you want it" which is also a no-no.....if its not good enough for them to have returned, why should I keep their shit...... No No No
