ray dont u flag them i had mine flaging today give them half hour morrning and half hour tea time ... was trying to get them ready for first race but don t think they will be ... giveing them a 50 mile toss on friday ...

seems most fanciers flag the birds before training, do you think it does ant good, pigeons can fly like a baot tacking into the wind without any energy.

i flag mine before i start training 1hr morn 1hr night when flags are up they know there are not allowed down and dont attempt to land soon as i take the down they come straight in

i never flag before training doors are open if they want to land they can but they still do an hour or so

everyone to there own mine never go in through open door always through ets trap

ill be trapping to the open door as im using normal clocking method (not ets) as for mr its the best way.......if using ets it has to be trap.

i wish mine would do a hour with doors open no chance but i put it down to the fact the cocks are too keen and want to be down for their hens ,which to me thats what you want is,nt it ?

dont know if its right ray but i was led to believe that when widowhood cocks are in condition it doesnt mean they fly for hours, they are constantly landidng and taking off from the loft clapping around the sky and chasing any other birds they see.......


maybe someone with more knowleage than me could tell us if this is right, or at least along those lines......
