Well, this time next week we'll know the result of our 1st yb race, it's from Chepstow , around 55 miles, the 10 we have ready are looking really fit, are coming nicely from training and are flying well around the loft, we've got a few more days now to tweek the feeding and a couple more tosses and we would have done all we can to get them ready. How are the members ybs coming on, are they race ready, is there anything more you think you can do to prepare them, when is your first race, questions, questions lol.

Were at Peterborough 75 miles next weekend for our first young bird race.
My preparation is going so well I'm almost shaking.

We're cancelled till next week, South Wales looks rough for tomorrow , rain and fog so I'm pleased they had the good sense to call it off early rather than have them stuck in the baskets

Well, the birds are away for the first race, all looks good for the morning from Chepstow, been marking the ybs and some of the guys have had them on darkness, what a difference in birds compared to those not on darkness, but then again there were some there I think we will stand a chance against, so fingers crossed for the morning

Truth be told I suspect Lofty Smile Smile most dream of having good returns over most other things etc on race day. Without it, it is easy to become a grumpy type Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes & that tends not to be good thing for the family I've found bounce bounce or our birds in the long run as such Wink Wink. cheers
