I don't know if it's been suggested before.
We could nominate a member on this site that had the best results last year, and if he's willing he or she could breed a yb for the RPRA 1 loft race out of their best birds, we could all chip in as a syndicate and call it Pigeon Worlds boy or girl.

It will be great fun for us and good publicity for the forum.

I like the sound of it boosey, we have done something similar a few years ago but it didn't turn out too well, maybe with a bit more planning and different birds it might work out better........ cheers

I would like to enter one myself but can't afford it, I think it would work well, we could send a strong candidate with the calibre of members we have on here.

sounds a good idea what is the cost per bird steve any idea it would be nice to send 2 i know a member on here who has had great success with ybs from a certain pair in breeder buyers maybe he would be willing to send 1 maybe we could nominate a few candidates get an idea of what they plan to breed from and then choose one or maybe 2 would be nice to send something from a proven pair to give best chance although as we know its no guarantee i think it would be just nice to get one to the final to keep interest going and ya never know ...great idea steve well done lets hope it generates enough interest Smile

ah right not as much as i thought maybe we could get 2 in from 2 different lofts ...if we could get 7/8 members at around £30 quid each i could ask tumley lofts stud to breed 2 birds instead of what we did with their birds last year at least all members then would have the chance of the benefit of the tumley ybs and then their would be no courier fee i could get walkers to courier the birds too ...just an idea if that's ok with david and we get the interest

Let's hope it all gets off the ground etc Boosey. 110 pound is what I term working man territory as such. Cheers.

like the sound of that Darren, tumley are giving 2 ybs as a prize again arnt they, so why not use that to everyones advantage and send them to a one loft.......certainly worth thinking about along with any other ideas we might come up with... cheers

Shame this post came out now, we could of activated a pigeon in the derby arona one loft race. Not all birds sent are activated by there owner so are put up for 3rd party's to buy for 110 euro. you get to see all there results through training and in my mind if they made it through training you got a fair chance. Maybe something to look at for next year.

well it looks like we have enough for 2 birds already at just over £30 each ...if we use 2 members birds then we have extra cost of courier fee another £90 so bear that in mind ....another reason why the tumley loft birds could be a good option and to be honest after last years fiasco with them I think this is a good option saves a lot of messing about as to who's birds we use ...just ideas at present but time soon moves on and things need to be organised and ball rolling as ybs need to be at the loft by end of march ideally

lets keep the topic fresh for another week then see who wants to go forward with it ...we need a address for correspondence and a loft no for the birds I would imagine and someone to collect monies I can have a chat with tumley see if they are ok with it and organise the courier too and happy to help in anyway I can.if you have any info to post on the one loft steve ie dates of monies and entries of birds any criteria required etc...it would be helpful

now see what you started lol! lol! lol!

Only looks to be a couple that have shown any interest Ray, I would suggest that before oldstrain busts a gut trying to sort everything out let's see who would definitely want to race in a one loft
