You can still race them even if you only give them young birds one race as long as they have been well schooled

You could even send them in a midweek race just to get them used to racing but without loads of stress

The racing could be at the end of the season when there are less pigeons and they have to use there heads

don, what do you think of midweek racing ? i got told the one near me is to be avoided as they let the birds up in all/any weather and have big losses.
