Sea coal pot

Hi lads dose anyone give sea coal to there birds I've started throwing hand full on my garden and there going mad for it

what is it phil, never heard of it......is it like a grit...?

Yes David I went and got a small bucket full and I throw in on garden and give small bits on try and they go mad I will send David a picture on fb to put on

Spent many a winter on the beach at West Hartlepool bagging it up. Cwt of 'best' coal and sea coal for the fireplace. Fine as sand or large as pebbles.

Certainly an interesting concept Phil . Could be good, could be bad as such for me depending on the dog population in the area .

Sea salt and minerals.

No dog can get on the part of beach you need to go for low water /tide always go for night time tide

you could always bake it if your worried about any nasties in it....if I had access to it I would definitely take full advantage I used to give the birds ground sea kelp this is even better great stuff
