It was supposed to be our first old bird race of the season tomorrow - BUT our chairman has just rung up saying that the race will be postponed until Sunday now, because of bad weather at the liberation site.

Not a great start, but better than losing all our birds.

What about you guys?

Very clever Knackered - about the finger thing.

I do have another hand that works perfectly well though -

We have just heard that our birds were up at 08:30 hours - no wind to speak of - 93 miles.

This is our first race from Frogland, so no idea what to expect.

Will keep you all informed.

We have no idea how we have gotten on - BUT we got 9 birds all back together, then 1 more hen after about 15 mins.

So all back bar 1 and I am sure she will make it back ok - just not enough education that's all.

Clocking tomorrow at 10 a.m. - so results to follow.

ATB everyone.

Got them ALL back!

The last hen to make it back, came home 35 minutes ago.

I am not saying that having all the birds back is all I hoped for, but to me, it proves the training we did with them was OK, and we are on the way!

As I said, we won't know the results until tomorrow.

Time to put the feet up and watch Formula 1.
