| how much money does it cost to send birds off for a race?does everyone take lots of birds or do you pick out the best ones that are trapping well at the time? |

| in our club its 50p a bird then five pool birds at £2 we also have a meat hamper to fly for which costs a £1 per bird £3 lottery bonus ball number and £2 blind card number, plus £" youngbird nom which we pay everyweek until the youngbird national where there is £1000 prize money to fly for, i sent 24 cocks it cost me £41, |

and this is just at club level, do things get even more expensive as fanciers enter nationals etc.....? |

| 60p a bird our club not sure of rest meeting thursday will know then, for fed theres a once a year payment of £140, you can send as many birds old and y/bs as you want no extra charge, i didnt pay it with just racing y/bs, but will next year a big saving, racing old and y/bs, just pools on top of 140 |

| dont know don, since ive come back to pigeons its all about money.......all i see is products which claim to do this and that and all at extortionate prices......evrything to do with pigeons is all about spending money. |
