True to my word etc I went bush again today with my cocks here "60 odd" seeing as the wind was on their nose. 30 odd miles for the enjoyment factor with the main batch "for what I could count" cutting it out in 50 odd minutes. Unfortunately they have been home now 2-1/2hrs odd & I hardly have a pigeon in the loft . So any one help me in the trapping department here but be warned thou , they eat as much as they want/desire/like & that is about .7 of an oz a day & we are in the middle of winter here.

just throw a few hens in for their arrival put marker rings on the hens so when all cocks are in and had 15 mins with the hens you can take them out ...just 6 hens would do to create a bit of a scene there and I am sure the cocks would start to tumble in on arrival atb oz

The best way to control your pigeons is through food I use a bit of Peanuts just through the Trap So now when they come home from a race or training They know that peanuts are on the other side That's if you trap your pigeons or open doorBut that's just my point of view of course

The only peanuts mine would ever get Jet 20 would be under glass etc they cost that much down here. Might just try O/S's idea etc "cheaper" seeing as I have a 100 odd race hens here going to waste. Must say Jet nice little set up on your avartar, mine is more along the lines of Hals here . Must add also heart pulpartaition time with my toss birds yesterday, as 7/8 miles up the road I caught them all ducking & diving along the freeway into the wind just above all the cars & trucks there . No wonder I at times loose pigeons when I toss them into a wind here. *****
