| We bought it for the first time this year, birds love it but I find it's very dusty, and I mean dusty, you throw a handful down and a cloud of dust comes up, don't know if it's always been like that |

| i make me own 12 red pick pots 12 clay blocks 1 kilo of crushed oyster shell 1lb of pink mineral and 1lb of black mix it together lasts for ages ...add small seeds to it if ya want or pellets ,did use matrix then went onto versa laga all in one and thought it no better than the mix above so stick with the cheaper option now the one I liked most was the beyers multimix but again worked out expensive they also get a basic mixed grit atb |

| used to use matrix all the time a few years ago, then one time they didn't have any so I bought de patagoon instead, and used it ever since........a couple of months ago they didn't have de patagoon so I bought a couple of tubs of matrix and what a load of sh*te it was, totally different from a couple of years ago, absolute sh*t......I would have been better sweeping up gravel off the street, it would have been better.
another case of big companies ripping the fancier off......reel them in with a good mix, then change it and the "mugs" will keep buying it, that's what they think.
not this mug anyway........ |

| Honestly do not understand. Grit. Pigeons need grit. Hen or chicken grit. Salt and minerals. Mineral block for livestock $3. Enough salt in it for the birds. All the minerals they need. Put in earth or a turf, sod of grass, they have everything they need. |

| always found the licks leave a pool of water beneath them in the loft obviously the sodium melting ...so give kilpatricks black minerals now instead and seems to contain all the salt they need also the red pick pots are good and contain sodium amongst all the other stuff...if I had clean land near me I would go down hals route and use soil none better as a mineral mix ,clay is good as a detox also contains minerals |
