Eye sign, muscles, feathers. There is no one common denominator. Each person has their own preferences. Big, medium, small. All work. BUT! With mine I more or less can tell by the eye color whether or not it will perform. I am not an eye sign enthusiast at all. One family here the yellow eye predominates in the races. The other family the pearl and so on. But that is just these birds. Of course, have been wrong quite often but seems to work most of the time.
OB and YB. One cannot tell the age by the eyes. So, how about race winners (good performance birds) then breeders that produce good performance birds?

had a pop today but pics are not very good at all very difficult on yer own to do

yes when I can get hold of her for 5 mins I will give it a go...what are we doing all in or yb and ob or breeder and racer not that it makes much difference here

might aswell do, racer then breeder or dual purpose

we need to ask our eye members on here if they will judge, chuda is on regularly, but don hasn't been seen or heard of for a while........

any time phil, I know it will be harder to take eye pictures than the normal pigeon on the perch type photo, so whenever I get enough to have a show really.

when members are happy enough with the photo just send them to pigeonworld46@yahoo.co.uk

What are we doing first yb racer or breeder

not sure what to do luke, do we have one show for racing eye and one show for breeding eye, or a yb show and an old bird show...?

Don't no about a show for racers and breeders but you will have mine sometime Sunday dave will it be the same 4 entry's per member

ive never tried to be honest luke, but I`ll give it a try.......ive seen some done on phone camera`s and they look very good.

it was taken in the end of October, I do zoom in to get a close shot, you cant take a picture of the eye and zoom in on the picture, as you wont get the details of the eye.

I will fix him up next time FW I will be his helper etc but I will keep it a secret, I have the shakes/tremors in both arms here in a bad way, even on a good day    .
