I toss stones at no one.  I knew several ww1 vets who had a hard time also.  Some stuff can't be removed.

I toss stones at the government of the day type Rom down here when talking Vet talk etc. for a 100 years they put the waffle out there, but did little else for those that needed help in a big big way when back in normal life. Fortunately, last 15 years has seen a huge change here after the smart ones finaly twigged their responsibility continues long after one is demobbed as such.

I hear you knack. I talked to an older gentlemen from your location this summer. Nice fella, STILL working being a "concreter". He filled me in. Seems like governments may not be the savior , anywhere. Go fight they say, what they don't tell you.....your on own when you return! Oh yeah, but please pay your taxes
