| hi all .... ive got 3 pr of birds that are sat on dummy eggs and there the ones which i have been raceing ... and there normal eggs due to hatch on sunday and was told to day to split the eggs apart and put a worm in them so that they think its hatch time and leave them sit them for 2 day and then basket them friday ... would u say its right ... or as anyone any help just to get them going ....

| only reason i ask is that im trying to prove them as the guy that loan me these was going to kull them after ive got a few yb out of them as the cocks was only flow in 3 races last year and then ive flew last 3 races with them and there like 15 - 20 mins behind ... but the hens r from good stock ... |

| Get some plastic dummy eggs which you can spilt place 2 maggots as they just keep moving by doing this the pigeons will think the eggs are going to chip

| worm in the plastic egg is the easiest way mate, makes them think the younguns ready to hatch.

| yous put worms and maggots in plastic eggs to make the birds think that chicks are pipping. you are having a laugh guys.how can you honestly prove that putting a worm in a plastic egg actually makes a bird fly home faster.a bit stupid if you ask me. |

| sorry all for late reply yea i tryed it worms in one egg and maggots in other ... cock bird was brillant for it .. i was placed that day with him ... and tryed it again ... and was 12th but im now trying to think of other ways to get him on his tips ... .....for week end from rivenhall .... since he as had good week rest |

| hi geordiejen, as far as i know its to simulate the egg hatching so the parents think the yb is about to hatch therefore making their parental instincts encourage them to fly home faster..... hope this helps......... |
