| over the last two years ive had a bad % of eggs not hatching, im putting it down to the cold.......but how come its cold for all of us and still some fanciers get a great % of eggs hatced. i know its colder in some areas than others but its still cold for eggs hatching wherever you are, cant understand it maybe i might wait a bit next year if its very cold again............ |

| i read a lot about pigeon fanciers and a lot of them have heating and insulation in there lofts and prepaire them like they are going to a race so they are in tip top condition ready for breading season . im not saying we dont prepaire them propley but the real top fanciers have that little bit more knoledge then we do that,s why they are at the top of there game , i always seem to think if you have a little patience and wait till it warms up a bit you will have a better hatch rate but make sure there not carrying any fat on them . |
