| Grit and black minerals, fresh every day, they absolutely murder both when they've got babies in the nest so my thoughts are if they want it that much then they must need it |

| crushed oyster shell grit from jollyes pet stores, redstone grit, clay block, black and pink minerals 24/7 from the day of pairing up but until they lay all the above are mixed together and a portion given in the next box daily so the hens get chance to take it on board ,when the cocks are driving the hen they don't get chance to get at it in the loft but once they have laid things settle down and the above are given separately in clay pots and the clay pots are stacked in a wire feeder |
