Racers paired up now

Yes paired racers today , all 33 pair and what a nightmare it was ..hate pairing up but all my fault as too many and not enough time

Been lucky this year as mine was still together from last year just put nest bowls in yesterday

Lol saves a lot of work that way

I bet its hard work I had hardest time ever this year due to mainly having yearlings

Nest bowls put in for the racers last Saturday afternoon had the last hen out of 18 pairs lay this afternoon stock paired yesterday mayhem in their today all settled back in their boxes for the night open them up again in the morning

glad hear breeding is on track mark, how many ybs you intending on breeding...?

Somewhere between 30/40 one round off the stock birds and ten or so off the race birds that's the plan

Interesting breeding off your race birds Mark . Done that for years down here at the end of the season etc. Birds are fit/healthy & have survived as such. Compared to the many that first started the season off at the start. Good value for money is the way I tend to think .

We have to breed before to race the ybs....
Everything downunder is odd...even the water goes down the sink the wrong way
