I do not know who pulls the strings on that site but there are some decent fanciers there, but one or two bad apples.

im in a forum for beekeepers but some of them their nose is that far up their arses if you ask for advice you get a load of shxt off them loads of back biting only been on this forum a few months and had no bad advice from anyone all been helpful keep it up

some are like that denise, I joined a leeds forum for locals a while ago, and never met such horrible self opinionated idiots........some pigeon forums are the same also.

Tell it as it is Girl "Denise" leave no stone alone etc Would suggest thou little purpose inviting the bee brigade, around for coffee & cake type of thing .

denise, honey, do not bee worried about the wrong ones they live in hives of discontent and must be sad most of the time and despondent in the remainder.

My one and only concern for over 50 years has been to attempt to ensure that young people like yourself have the same opportunity to enjoy our sport as I have done for over 75 odd years.

However, apathy has been the almost ruination of the sport in our country just so long as nothing actually affects them directly many fanciers have not been bothered what is done in their name until they now realise the horse has almost bolted.

Enjoy the sport denise and when fanciers who care put forward ideas that could improve your sport , back them.

we are all here to learn if you dont ask you dont find out i only ask for health of my bees /pigeons so why should people who as had to learn themselfs be arxxoles ive let my racing pigeons out for first time this morning and they have done a bunk 2 adults and 2 young but mums come back to feed her babies im gutted

Hi Denise, something you've just learnt the hard way unfortunately, is Saturday mornings in particular there's a lot of racers flying through in all directions. If you're one or two get in with big batches they get hoovered up and dragged away, ending up in unfamiliar territory. Hope they make their way home, if they do they would have learned an awful lot. But maybe play safe in future and keep your birds in during racing season, certainly until late afternoon when most big batches should be well away. Good luck with your birds.

Hi Barnie it was 7 am when i let them out got a few men who races pigeon and they allway let me know when theres a race on and i wont let them out when they are training theirs so thought 7 am would be ok but i was wrong

We may be of senior class Denise etc I suggest but as long as we think young there may just be some hope for us as such, hopefully .

Sorry to hear about your problem, I would have let the pigeons rear the first round and be down on eggs again before attempting to settle the old ones. the young ones would then be settled and help to settle the old ones

[/quote Hi Misty it was mamand dad and 2 their 2 young birds she as some 8 day old chicks but she did come back late afternoon to feed babies but no signs of others

Havid thanks for the offer but i have rollers i only took these racers because owner was going to kill them they were too nice for that but mums got 2 nice young birds see how they go but thanks all the same
