| got a yb with a greasy wattle, been like this for around 10 days now, shes in good health by the looks of it, showing no signs of illness, and moulting steadily........ive 16 birds in a 6 x 6 section, good ventilation and doors open all day until 9. 00 pm, all other birds have snowy white wattles.
any thoughts on how to clear it ? |

| David it maybe doesn't have the constitution of the rest of the YB team? If they're doing fine, personally I wouldn't be flock treating for just one pigeon being affected. Is she flying any length of time or are they still not batched up yet? Give her the benefit of doubt and check out where she's roosting overnight. Is there a draught or gap in the loft wall right where her perch is? |

| This is a respertory problem, perhaps brought on by bad air brought on by farting.
The best cure is a Rohnfried product called Schnupfenol.
Regards.

| It’s very rare, but it could be it’s oil gland over producing check it’s tump just above it’s tail, that’s where the oil gland is, when they press they wipe it ovevtheir feathers. I get a youngster every now and again get a bit mucosy, I get a bit of flour of sulphur on a t-spoon and bosh it down their throat, it makes them cough and sneeze for a while, but don’t let them drink for about 15 mins. Repeat that for 3 or 4 days and that will dry their nose out. Hate the smell though. They only seem to get it up to a certain age then they’re fine after that. |

| David, I told you that it is a respertary problem and also the recommended treatment.
This is not speculation but based on the latest scientific information which you can easily obtain as I have done.
If all the other pigeons are coping with what you throw at them, and they must if you are to do any good, then the sensible thing is to do is part with those that cannot.
I know, I know, you will always get those who say they saved one and it was a wonder pigeon but believe me they are one in a million or more.
I never had any health problems of any consequence but any weak pigeon in any respect was frowned on.
Regards.

| The individual David.
If you had a member of your family with a boil or other such ailment would ypu treat all the family?.
The details of how to use the product will no doubt be included with the product.
All the best if you want to treat.
Regards. |
