I'm glad it wasn't my fed also Jet the way things are in disarray at the moment etc. Years gone by we would have 6,000 odd birds on the one truck as such here, now we have 2 trucks for 4,000 odd birds & they say we have nothing to be concerned about at the top, even after going into debt for $150,000 odd dollars on a white elephant of a room alteration for the main head quarters that your lucky to get 30 odd flyers in on a good day. Now  you had a bash at your 400 mile race there I see & unfortunately come up short so to speak, but always remember Jet. Rome wasn't built in a day as such & so hopefully you will continue with the challenge you have & have more success down the track as they say, hopefully .

Managed to get 3 birds back At the moment The first one was at 1.48 ...1.58 And I am not sure what the last one was

Been some poor racing this way yesterday, we didn’t send and our club had decent returns, but south road lads had a disaster , most birds missing and velocities as low as 600’s, some not seen a feather

bad racing on the south on saturday for our organisations a lot of birds missing but that's what happens when yer racing east to west and liberations are heading north across yer line of flight

Certain good flyers here O/S are bashing their head against a brick wall in frustration with some of there returns etc after our first 4 races on Saturday. Last 2 weekends here on Sunday have been perfect days for the stragglers to find home & sadly very few are making it in the end on average I'm unfortunately.

Odd thing is daz the east to west birds were decent returns, everything coming from the south were smashed, experienced fanciers are scratching their heads trying to fathom out what happened, it happened on Saturdays libs and sundays libs

it was the combine that got hit here roy they fly east to west not sure how the fed got on which is due south

Our fed got very good returns, east to west, the welsh south road fed had terrible losses, from blandford I think ,felt for them, some not seeing a bird

awful racepoint roy our combine took it off the programme last year

Apparently both Saturday and Sunday liberation’s from this venue were very bad, returns were a disaster, so looks like your fed were right in not racing from there daz

Our fed have cancelled this weekend, poor forecast so looks like next week for us, Swindon

Thunderstorms etc again today. However, from the forecast, chance of showers Aug 4th. Was thunderstorms forecast.
So looks like a go. Trying for one more toss, 2 if possible. 20 miles. Young birds are still doing between one and two hours flying. Up early morning then gone. Out once a day only. Some are late coming back so asume they have got in with other birds being trained. No matter to me. Have strays come in anyway. 1st race will ship half of them only. Probably 20. Not all eggs in one basket.
