| Had 2 hours of none stop tests, Knackered, comes to mind.
Have to wait for the specialists report after he has studied them.
No chance to have a talk.
If I was you I would just take the advice of the specialist who is dealing with your problem because not all are the same.
Regards.

| My breathing has been a bit better the last couple of days my cough is still the same. Iv been wearing the mask anytime I go any where near my birds. Their moult seems a lot more this year, some are nearly bald on their heads ????, so that won't help. So fingers crossed I can manage the condition. Sending best wishes to you Misty and hope your wife gets some rest Roy . |

| Thank you merrylegs, I do hope your condition doesn’t get much worse, make sure you use a good quality mask, my son in law and racing partner Luke has got me a good face mask from work, he’s a welder and they use excellent ones, so buy the best you can |

| Must be a nightmare for fanciers with this condition I suppose all you can do is try and make the loft as maintenance free as you can and a change of clothes a big help this time of the the year would be a partner who could clean out but that's not easy to get these days |

| I do hope that fanciers are intelligent enough to know when they are being egged on for a yoke.
merrylegs, maybe it would be helpful if you could find a friend to do the most potentially detrimental tasks, I was offered help to the extent that I would have had to do nothing but I am too old to take advantage, had I been much younger I would certainly have considered it.
As I have said previously, the best approach is to take note of what your specialist says to do and what is and what is not in your best interests.
In any event all the very best and thank you for your kind remarks.
Regards.

| Hi guys hope you are ok . I am a lot better now but I am on steroids and they have helped immensely. I'm about a stone heavier but can breath s lot better. I was 50% lung capacity and it's now in 70% so slot better. I don'tmess with my birds too much just feed them . It is very frustrating but at least I get to keep them. |

| Hi, merrylegs, good to see you are feeling better, not a nice thing this pigeon lung.
Know the feeling not being able to do what you used to, frustration does not start to explain it, but the way I look at it, there are people far worse off than me and I can still do most things within limits.
Having enjoyed ours port for over 70 odd years is a blessing as opposed to the situation some find themselves in, it still hurts not having my feathered friends but I am thankful for what I still have.
Hope you continue in reasonable health and your feathered friends also.
Kind Regards.

| I found, merrylegs, that the tablets I was given gave me more problems than the breathing one, so I ditched all those but for the thyroid, and eye drops, and will just cope with the breathing one.
Which is not too bad after being away from our feathered friends.
Just keep yours because it takes some getting used to without them.
Regards. |
