| we are racing Monday again at least they are thinking of the welfare of the birds ...we race from Coventry ,any other members racing ybs ,good luck to all members racing |

| Haven't had mine in the basket yet was going to start them this week but the forecast is rain every morning except on Monday |

| The Worcester fed liberated at 15.00 yesterday at from saw birds coming over around 17.00 ish don't no how the returns was |

| Would be interesting to know how the returns from Worcester were with the late liberation maybe fooling the raptors.

| we went at 7am sun on the baskets and headwind of about 10mph should be here around 9am 83 miles |

| poor returns again at the club 13/19 here and we were 2nd 3rd 4th 5th club very disappointed with the returns but yer damned if you do or don't it seems ,good conditions today they should have faired well...hopefully a few more will turn in ...the brother to our 2 test loft hens was 3rd club today and he was bred very late and left the nest end of may |

| Cannot grumble at that oldstrain, no one knows the problems present day pigeons face, we can only guess.
Would be idea if only the poorest pigeons were lost as young birds but facts prove otherwise.
If every fancier lost very few pigeons it would create a worse situation than losing a reasonable number and if those lost were the least desirable, it does not work like that though.
Today many pigeons are lost in what one could call reasonable or ideal conditions year after year and all fanciers do is moan, there is no attempt to work out the reason.
Many fanciers have health problems with their pigeons, instead of finding out why, they treat, treat, treat, not understanding that prevention is better than a cure and ALL medication has side effects, some worse than the original complaint.
But then the commercial boys must be kept in clover.
