Gosh, bucketing it down through out the night … looks threatening now... Think I'll send Joyce on 'Rowing' lessons and buy a boat. … depending on costs.... supposed getting Joyce rigged out with waders etc. and giving me tiggy backs would be cheaper … Keep her fit too! So another bonus eh!

Saw some thing here Daz last night as such on TV I had never seen before etc. Local A grade football match played in snow for much of the game Crazy locals thou knew something I suspect as they all come dressed in their skiing gear for the game & the real killer for the night there for me thou, was the bloke selling ice creams from his van, to just help in some small way I suspect to keep people warm through out the game .

Had a good soaking here. Strong winds and plenty of rain overhead waiting to burst.
Glad my yb's wouldn't be racing to day … having said that, I believe those that are will fill many perches tonight. I certainly hope so.

Spoke too soon. surrounded by Black clouds, If a decent size Cloud holds 100.000 tons of water , we have vastly more over head.
Obviously no such thing then as a cloud burst. Or houses and cars... ever her across the toad would be flattened.

Bleak & miserable here today & the story I'm about to tell here sadly, made it some what bleaker unfortunately I'm . Had a bird reported last night, rang the bloke to pick it up today type of thing, which all went as planned etc But when I got home as such & took the bird from the basket in my van, some thing caught my eye for some reason in the steel crate I use to toss my birds which holds 50/60 birds & never leaves my van through out the season as such. Low & behold but what did I twig, but a pigeon in there from when I tossed them a week ago. One embarrassing moment in time I'm for me it was & I just hope you rabble here keep it all to yourselves type of thing . as I have a certain reputation here I suspect    . Now this is the killer part & believe it or not etc but the pigeon had lost very little condition in the end & the bloom on it's feathers would make a man blush in disbelieve that it was covered in such bloom for a pigeon which had no water or feed for a week type of thing being locked away hidden in a tossing crate in some ones van.
