You may have missed the snowstorm etc Hal but I got caught up in one all mighty thunderstorm here yesterday. Glad I live on a mountain thou as I would have nearly floated out to sea with all the rain as such we had     . Now Take it for what it is type of thing but down in the Antarctic here, they have just recorded the warmest day on record there apparently. 20C . About reaching that time for the sunscreen & shades before going skinny dipping for the enjoyment factor down there now maybe.

Rained during the nights, and continued on. Not been out … Sent Joyce out to do some Shopping, Some will have a report regards the wind eh!

Storm arrived about an hour ago, heavy rain and gusty wind, 12 hours relentless bad weather forecast. One of the few times it's good to be on a hillside, nowhere for the water to lay.

Yep had to batten down a lot, Rain teamed down … Blew a gardening pot of Joyce's table outside lol. Always does, but she won't remove... has my old pigeon loft as an another gardening shed... Has a lot of pots in there … but won't put one from outside over night in lol.
Rain. ditches want clearing. Have seen but a few rivers dredged. Flood plains running out! Why! Because its cheaply bought land for building on. I see last November another 10.000 houses are to be built on such.
Mind climate change has altered the Jet Stream etc. so a very lot more to come. See with the massive chucks of 600 metre deep the size of England or wales keep falling into the sea.
Now it was via 2030 -2050 Cambridge would be a sea side resort … Now that has applied to Peterborough instead.

has it advantages hasn't etc Barnie That comfort type feeling as houses float away below you     maybe . All that being said, not a good time I suggest seeing people caught up in a flood type scenario or bush fires, especially if they just don't have any insurance to cover all their losses as such.

Sun not up here yet forecast not looking all that good thou I'm today. Interesting point, when the rains do come we will get a months rain now in a few hours etc. Houses/buildings here just not designed to carry the burden with the rain factor as such.

Well raining again … Sorry still raining here!

We have mainly escaped the worst of the storms, although the wind has just knocked a sheet of twin wall polycarbonate off the loft that has been on for over 40 odd years, son will do the honours in putting it back.

Feel their must be some of our fellow fanciers in the flooded areas and one can only have great sympathy for their predicament.

Crap again down here today etc I'm . Now Tourist industry complaining as such no Chinese filling beds & the local universities are beating the same drum as there are around 65,000 odd Chinese type students unable to take up their courses here with the corona virus scenario.

Minus 5 but sun, Again tomorrow. Then warmer. Spring may be in the air but not my feet.
