You won't believe this … Rained a lot last night. Was still at this morning till not so long ago. Mind, a lot of dark N.W. clouds above.

2 inches of snow. Getting heavier.

Being a great and sunny afternoon. Miss the pigeons lol.

Coolish here again Summer nearly over here & the best I could say I'm   is it's been a really bizarre type summer on average.

Bit cool again here today Still Autumn starts shortly here thou so maybe summer is just running a wee bit late type of thing, hopefully .

Had some Hail and sleet. Mainly a constant, and often heavy rain here … nigh none stop.

When a lad we loved the 'Flood Plains'! If frozen over great - was why those in Lincoln 100 odd year ago excelled at Ice Skating'.

I lived near the river … where the 'Workers had to live. When houses were built for the boats / farm hands etc. were close to work.

Now building on them as buying the Land for House building is cheaper and great profits!

And it continues. Greed and profits eh!

As Britain battles horrific floods amid the climate emergency, a community is pleading for a rethink on plans for a new town on this land, designated a flood risk zone.
The Unity Project in South Yorkshire will have 3,100 homes, a school, marina, transport hub, shops, health centre and industrial units built around 200 acres of open space in 25 years.
But it is less than two miles from Fishlake in Doncaster, which was overwhelmed by floods when the Don burst its banks in November, causing such misery Boris Johnson was shamed into visiting South Yorkshire to see the damage.

Forget the Ark etc Rog just come live on my mountain as such here & you can watch the houses float by down below in the next big storm type of thing . Now this may be a weather thing maybe, But A hi tech Chinese type vessel, has just been caught out mapping our coastal waters out to the west here etc it appears . Maybe they may think more to be had, than our coal, iron ore & gas type of thing .

Slight breeze with plenty of West in it, but warm and blue skies galore.

nice bright day here, managed to get 4 more nest boxes fitted into the new loft, and the last of my stock birds in there .........time to start letting the birds go which needs new homes .....
